DPSGV celebrated Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students of class Nursery to class I attended the special assembly on Independence Day. The chief guest for the assembly was Dr Ashutosh Tyagi. Students recited patriotic poems and sang patriotic songs. They wore tri-coloured attire and head gear.On this occasion students spread the message of UNITY IN DIVERSITY.



Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great Zeal and fervour by the students of ECCE. Children dressed in the ethnic dresses of Lord Krishna and Radha. They decorated peacock feather head gears and wore it. Children celebrated the occasion by singing and dancing with great joy.



DPSGV always aim at instilling cultural values in students. As a part of our cultural celebration, ECCE Starz celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Children explored their creativity by making Rakhi. They tied and wished each other ‘HAPPY RAKSHA BANDHAN’



“May the sun in his course visit no land more free,more happy, lovely, then this our own country”. Class 4-Lotus presented Independence Day special morning assembly echoing this thought. The children presented a lovely dance,a skit with video and slogans on how children can serve the nation.


Special assembly was conducted by class 3-Lotus on Van Mahotsava, where children adopted plants and promised to take care of their environment.

Special Assembly on Van Mahotsav conducted by Class III-Lotus on 6 July 2017.

Children planted sapling in their nearby vicinity. The video clipping of the same was shown in the Assembly. Pledge was also taken to keep the Mother Earth safe.

Dance and Song was also part of the celebration.

Fruit Salad Activity

Nursery students conducted a fruit salad activity on 7 July 2017

The kitchen activity was conducted to inculcate healthy eating habits and development of life skills. Children were made to understand the importance of eating fruits. The method of preparation of fruit salad was displayed by the teachers. The children enthusiastically made the fruit salad and shared with their friends. This activity was done to teach the students to develop self-help skills as swell.

Speaking Skill

Students of Nursery participated in the speaking skill on the topic MY FAVOURITE FRUIT/ VEGETABLE. DPSGV Starz made the scintillating performance with their vibrant props and showcased their confidence. They were excellent in showing their lingusitic abilities.

Story Narration

Students of class Prep participated in the story narration activity on 17th July 2017. The stories taken were – 

  1.  The Ant and the Dove
  2. The Three Little Pigs
  3. The Monkey and the Crocodile.

The students used innovative props and were expressive and confident while narrating the story.
