To foster problem solving and algorithmic thinking abilities Prove yourself to be a Smart Programmer! Here is the opportunity to demonstrate your programming skills.

This Programming Contest is a challenging and fun opportunity for the students to improve their programming skills. The event encourages the development of creative problem-solving and communication skills as students work to generate solutions to programming problems

Innerve is open to students of classes XI or XII, one participant from each school. Participant will be required to compete onsite at the DPSG Vasundhara campus, and must be officially registered for the Competition.

Students individually compete to demonstrate their programming skills and problem solving abilities by attempting to solve programming problems within a fix time period.

The event consists of two rounds.

PRELIMINARY ROUND:

Each school team will participate in a qualifying round – a Technical Pen and Paper Quiz given on programming languages like C, C++, Java etc. The top ten scorers (school teams) for the event will be shortlisted for the final round.

FINAL ROUND:

It will be a Lab Activity, programming problems will be given to each student to solve in a time period of 1 Hour, using programming language C++.

JUDGMENT CRITERIA:

* All the problems have equal points allotted to them.

* Participants will be ranked according to the problems solved.

* Points will be given according to applied logic, display of output and correct answer.

* Ties will be broken by the total time for each user in ascending order of time

* The total time is calculated as time consumed for solving the problems. The time consumed for a solved problem is the time elapsed from the beginning of the contest to the submission of the last accepted run minus 2 penalty points for every previously rejected run for that problem (Wrong answer).

* The decision of the organizers in declaring the results will be final. No queries in this regard will be entertained.

* Any participant found to be indulging in any form of malpractice will be immediately disqualified.
